Description
This report describes a public health and community-based partnership in Kentucky which reduced the rate of pre-term births, and decreased Child and Protective Services encounters. Lessons learned from this partnership were that: collaboration and leadership are key; cultural change is required for reform; and Medicaid funding rules limit funding to non-first-time-mothers.
